The Inter-university PhD in interdisciplinary gender studies is a formative and innovative research initiative that addresses a series of chosen lines of research, from Gender, History and Cultural Production, through Gender, Health and Sexualities or Gender, Economy, Law and Politics of Equality; or, due to its relevance Gender, Gender Violence and Education, among others.
The aim of this PhD is to allow its participants the training and research necessary to lead the change in the treatment of Gender from its different lines of research, with the aim of implementing an advance in each of these lines of research that results in the progress of a proposal for a society on gender equality and that allows to face with greater guarantees situations that affect or give permanence to each of the lines of research followed to address interdisciplinary gender studies.
The PhD will be developed with two possibilities, full time in three or five years; or part-time in 5 to 8 years, in face-to-face mode, establishing a series of admission requirements in which, together with the curriculum of the previous studies corresponding to the title of the program, they will be assessed – with the detail that appears in the corresponding section -, the academic record, professional and research experience in the lines of research object of the doctorate or other merits that serve to accredit said professional and research experience.
In short, a research proposal with ambitious lines of research that aim to provide results that achieve leadership in the interdisciplinary study on gender.
